Money is needed to provide a
well for clean water for the orphanage and the clinic.
Financial support is also needed so we can provide teachers for the children
and medical staff for the clinic. The orphanage needs a tractor to continue growing maize, beans, and cassava to feed the
children. School supplies and basic furniture, such as desks, are needed.
The list goes on and on... and so do the potential blessings!
We would like to thank everyone
who has donated to the Katosi Project. They now have a taxi, beds,
uniforms and shoes for the orphans and school children.
We will be going back to Uganda in October (2008), and the project
continues.
Our goals for 2008 include:
1. Providing a water source, by creating a well.
2. Facilitating various
vocational education so that the children can gain
practical skills which can sustain them in the future. (Sewing, crafts,
bicycle and motorcycle repair, learning about computers)
3. Constructing a church.
4. Creating a chicken
farm.
