Katosi Village is found in
the central region of Uganda Africa, just off the shores of Lake
Victoria. It has a multi-tribal population of 15,600. Most
of the people live in poverty which makes life tremendously difficult, especially for the women and
female children.
Civil wars and HIV/AIDS have
touched almost every home and are devastating the population of the whole
country. Diseases such as Malaria and Bilharzia ravage the
vulnerable. The number of orphaned children is very high.
